Remember to schedule your screenings

It’s October, and that means it’s also Breast Cancer Awareness Month – a good reminder for yourself (or the women in your life) to get a breast cancer screening.

But this month, let’s also use it as a reminder of the other health screenings we all need to be getting regularly as adults, including:

  • Blood pressure
  • Cholesterol
  • Glucose/diabetes
  • Colorectal cancer (starting at age 50)


The healthy habits you’re building are important to maintaining your well-being throughout your life. And seeing your doctor regularly for these screenings allows you to “check your work” and talk about any concerns before they turn into bigger problems. So if you’re behind on your screenings, then schedule an appointment this month to get caught up!
